What categories do you publish?
We publish a wide range of genres: fiction, non-fiction, biography, poetry and children’s stories.
How long does it take to publish a book?
As a general rule it will take six to eight months to produce a book.
Can I supply a handwritten manuscript?
Yes, as long as it is clearly written.
Can I provide my own illustrations?
Yes, as long as they are found to be suitable.
Can I have input into the cover design?
Our graphics department will do their best to accommodate the author’s requests.
Will my work be copyrighted?
You automatically get copyright protection when you create an original literary work. Your book will be printed with the copyright symbol (©), your name and the year of creation. Copies will be sent to the Agents for the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, the National Library of Scotland, the Library of Trinity College Dublin and the National Library of Wales. As a requirement one copy will also be sent to the British Library and the copyright will remain your own property.
Will my book have an International Standard Book Number?
An ISBN will be allocated to every published book.
Will my book be on Amazon and Waterstone’s websites?
We upload details of every published book to Nielsen BookData, whose database is used by all booksellers in the UK, allowing your book to feature on websites such as Amazon and Waterstone’s. In addition, we have an account with Gardners Books, one of the largest book wholesalers in the UK, who take a stock of our titles and supply most of the major retailers.
Do you provide promotional material?
Yes, we can provide showcards, A5 leaflets and bookmarks.
Can I pay in monthly instalments?
Yes, payments may be made over six, nine, twelve, or twenty-four months, interest free.
