Excellent, easy to read highly amusing and insightful into the memories of child during the war. Liked reading about local areas and local people who lived through it! Would recommend it as it has a child innocence about it.

Just read this book I know the area and I know the lady that wrote it. A good civilian insight into the war and I would recommend it for children touching on this subject at school. A nice relaxing read.
